Public Inquiries

Public Inquiries about Immigrant Visas can be made to the Immigrant Visa Unit by fax or e-mail at all times. Every effort will be made to respond to your initial inquiry within three working days. Inquiries may also be made by telephone between 3:00 and 4:30 any weekday except Tuesdays at the following number: 00-389-2-3116-180 ext. 2135 or 2136. Public inquiries about Immigrant Visas may be made in person by American citizens, only from 2:00 - 4:00 on Thursdays. You must present your U.S. passport at the main entrance in order to enter the Embassy.
